When you cross the bridge or as we call it, "The Cresent City Connection",  you are on the "Westbank".  This includes mostly Jefferson Parish but also includes Algiers - which is the only part of Orleans Parish on the Westbank, and Plaquemines Parish which includes the City of Belle Chasse.  Jefferson Parish includes the cities/towns: Gretna, Harvey, Marrero, Westwego, Bridgecity, Avondale and Waggaman.  Past Waggaman is St. Charles Parish.  You may click on the highlighted words above for more information on these specific Parishes/Areas.  You can read news and updates about the activities and festivities in these parishes here on our website.  Here you will find articles on our blog as well as links to news & entertainment.
